What we do

Rose Charities UK seeks to assist individuals, groups and communities whose lives and happiness are being held back fully or partially by disability, health problems, poverty and/or  poor education.  600 million people (12% of the worlds population) suffer from disability (WHO).  Disabilities bring misery, reduce economic status, destroy social integration and cause untold suffering, both physically and  through stigmatization and marginalization from society.  In addition, in times of crisis, it is invariably the disabled (along with the young and old) who are the first to suffer.
